St Mark's Mission Partners
As a church, we believe that God has called us not only to share the gospel where He has placed us, but also to partner with those who are taking the good news of Jesus to other communities and nations. One of the ways we can do this is by supporting local and international charities financially by giving 10% of our church share, and, most importantly, by prayerfully standing with them in their work.
Caring For Life is a Christian charity sharing the love of Jesus with people who are at risk or facing hardship, including those who are homeless. Through long-term support, housing and friendship, we help people move beyond past difficulties towards a happier future. Our services include Daytime Activities, Housing Support, Benefits & Tenancy Support and Supported Living.
Wellspring is a registered Christian mental health charity based in Starbeck, Harrogate, that provides affordable, professional, and confidential counselling for adults, children, and young people
Horizon Life is a Christian charity in Harrogate that supports people who have completed rehabilitation from drug and alcohol addiction. Through residential support, counselling, practical training, work experience and Christian discipleship, Horizon Life helps people rebuild their lives, develop new skills and make a positive transition back into the community and employment.
Latin Link is an international Christian mission agency and registered charity that sends and receives cross-cultural workers between Latin America, Europe, and the UK.
Mission Without Borders is an international network of Christian organisations that provides practical, emotional, and spiritual support to children, families, and vulnerable adults experiencing poverty or marginalisation in Eastern Europe.
Meet The Team
Our Mission Support Team (MSG) is a sub-committee that reports to the PCC. It helps oversee and encourage the church’s mission giving and partnerships, ensuring that our support for local and global mission is prayerful, intentional, and aligned with our values. The team works to strengthen relationships with our mission partners and help keep the wider church informed and engaged with what God is doing through them.
