St Mark's Prayer

Prayer is at the heart of our life together, helping us seek God’s power, experience His presence, and follow His purposes.

Prayer for Others

We meet each month as a whole church family to pray for the church, the community and the world. Our meeting is often focussed around a theme for example children and youth, church finances, vision or one of our mission partners.

Interceding means standing in the gap through prayer, bringing the needs of others before God with faith, love, and compassion. We can look to God, trusting Him and seeking His guidance; into pray for our families, friends, church and communities; and out to pray for people around the world who are suffering, in need, or far from God. Through intercession, we carry one another’s burdens to God and ask Him to bring healing, peace, protection, justice, hope, and transformation. If you would like to join the team of intercessors let us know by clicking the button below and filling in the short form.

Each day, our staff team begins work by pausing to put God at the centre of all we do. We spend time listening to His Word through the Bible, and praying for our church, our community and the world. We’re guided by the Church of England’s Daily Prayer App, which helps us journey through Scripture and prayer together. Everyone is warmly welcome to join us as we begin the day seeking God’s presence and purpose.

A wonderful opportunity for early risers and anyone who would love to begin the day by pausing, praying and spending time with God. Often meeting on Zoom this is a great way to start your morning with prayer, reflection and a sense of God’s presence.Contact us for login details
