Shirley leads the prayer ministry team. She is responsible for their training and development and for organising team members to be available to pray for people at the 10:30 and 6pm services as well as for more in depth prayer opportunities mid-week. She is one of the points of contact for urgent prayer requests for the church community and organises the ministry team’s internet prayer response. She also works with the Prayer Director to provide a weekly intercessory prayer time specifically to pray for people in need and for the church and wider issues.
