In this constantly evolving situation, our plans may sometimes change within a matter of hours. The leadership team are meeting daily to ensure that we have the latest government guidance and instruction from the Church of England to inform our actions.
This morning, we have reviewed the request from the Archbishops, ‘that church buildings may, where practical, remain open as places of prayer for the community, observing social distancing recommendations.’ We have amended the days when the church will be available for private prayer to: Mon-Fri, 9am-1pm. Those visiting church must do so in accordance with the Government’s guidance on hygiene and distancing.
We anticipate this may be only temporary and the building may have to be closed soon and at short notice.
