We wanted to take this opportunity to reach out to all our toddler families at this time.
Our Toddler Groups have now been closed for 6 weeks and our normal routines and patterns of life have changed drastically. I hope you and your families are well and that you are adjusting to the new patterns of work, communication and home life. We know these are difficult, stressful days, and as parents and carers we are facing the challenges of parenting our children through these unprecedented times.
We wanted to let you know that you are all valued members of our St. Mark’s Church family. Please let us know if there is anything at all we can do to support you during this time.
Our church ministries are all adapting to the new way of doing things and much of church life has moved online. St. Mark’s has weekly church services and daily prayer times available on our YouTube channel:
We also have a team of people available to offer support through prayer and practical help. If you need any help at all don’t hesitate to get in touch with the team via email (or to offer help):
We have been putting regular updates on our Toddler Facebook group. (St. Mark’s Harrogate Toddlers Group). We share quotes, songs, local resources, family information and links. Toddler Praise resources are updated every two weeks, these include a bible story, song, craft and a message from Mr Bible. These resources are then uploaded to the church website each week. Please share this with families you may know who have young children (either here in Harrogate or further afield):
We will continue to monitor government and church guidelines to assess when it might be possible to reopen our toddler groups, but it looks like it won’t be for a while.
Please get in touch if you would like help connecting with other families, or you have suggestions on how St. Mark’s can further support families with young children. Email: email@example.com
May God bless you and your families
From Gail Vlack, St. Mark’s Toddler Coordinator, and all the Toddler Leaders and volunteers
