We are blessed to be a blessing. Each Christmas we think of those less fortunate than ourselves and let them know that we are thinking of them this Christmas. Below is a list of various organisations supporting people in our area and further afield for you to prayerfully consider blessing this Christmas. There will be boxes for Caring For Life, IDAS, In2Out & SASH by the office.

Caring For Life – sharing Jesus’ love with vulnerable adults in a Leeds community Request: Lots of large gift bags, 100 Christmas crackers, 120 mince pie boxes of six, little chocolate table gifts (e.g. bags of choc coins / mini boxes of chocs etc..) Gift cards from Asda, Morrisons, Argos – generally £5 value. Deadline: 2nd Dec

IDAS (women’s refuge) Request: Brand new toys for ten 3-7 years old girls and boys. Deadline: 9th Dec

In2Out – aims to reduce reoffending amongst 15-21 year olds as they leave custody, allowing them to realise their potential. Request: Chocolates, toiletries. Deadline 9th Dec

SASH – supported lodgings for young people who cannot live at home. Request: Toiletries, notepads, earphones, pens, T-shirts, socks, undies, photo frames, slippers, flannels, make up, books for young fiction, toothbrushes. Deadline: 9th Dec

Compassion HG1000 Sponsor a child through Compassion HG1000

So far, we have 946 children sponsored by people in the Harrogate postcode as part of our HG1000 campaign to find sponsors for 1000 children. At our Toy Service on 2nd Dec, we will be collecting new, unwrapped toys which will be given to St. George’s Crypt, Leeds and local families in need.
